The civil wars aftermath and proliferation of armed groups led to. It builds on our Rule of Law in Armed Conflicts (RULAC), a unique online portal that identifies and classifies all situations of armed violence that amount to an armed conflict under international humanitarian law. The Libyan Crisis 1 2 is the current humanitarian crisis 3 4 and political-military instability 5 occurring in Libya, beginning with the Arab Spring protests of 2011, which led to a civil war, foreign military intervention, and the ousting and death of Muammar Gaddafi.
